With the temps in the 90s I headed up the trail to find my workmate Larry and have a little ice cream. I felt like I was really struggling up the trail but after I crossed the tracks at Bramlett I found Ken alongside the trail. He'd had a flat and the glue in his patch kit had dried up. Somebody gave him a glueless patch, but he was stopping to inflate it every mile. I had an unopened patch kit so Ken used my glue to patch his tube and get back on the way.
I hustled on up the trail and over to Larry's. he threw his laundry into his truck and came on over to the Creamery. Jenn was off and her new girl was behind the counter. Judy was in line ahead of me. I had a dreamcicle/vanilla twist and Larry had a strawberry smoothie. We went outside and chatted for a while then I took off and hustled down the trail.
