Felt run down today and not looking forward to riding but the weather was great so I took a short ride. Legs actually felt good and though I started slow on the climb up Jackson Hill my pace picked up on the second half of the climb. Was greeted at the top of the climb by an awful stench. Farmers were spraying some type of liquidied manure on the fields that was really ripe. It was almost painful to breath. Ride got better though as the air cleared on the coast down to Odessa. The tree lined ride to Cayutaville along Little Lake is almost always pleasant and today was no exception. Finished the ride with a nice tail wind from Mechlenburg back to Odessa.
