Today was the Cycle to Farm event. I volunteered to be a course marshall, so spent 5 to 6 hours standing out in the sun. I used plenty of sunscreen so I wasn't burned, just drained from the sun. With Cis gone I drove to Furman and parked at the train car. I rode south to Linky Stone, then north to Sunrift, south to Blue Ridge, and back to Furman. I was surprised that the trail was so empty at this time of day. Apparently the crowds thin out on nice days later in the day. I'll bet the trail was packed this morning.
