Good day on the bike today started up with a nice climb up Old Odessa hill which although is steeper than the New Odessa Hill or SR 224 is a much more enjoyable climb. Climbing continued out through Mechlenburg and had good speed even into the headwind. Speeds were high and legs were light to Ovid and had a strong ride to about the fifty mile mark where the gas tank started running low and lost my focus. The last ten miles was still enjoyable with the tailwind and downhill combination that is really hard to beat on a warm summer's day. Rode home, refueled and worked on my tan for a couple of hours then went out and did a fast twenty on the Johnson Hollow course.
