Legs were tired today after yesterday's relatively strong rides and that was unfortunate as today's course was mostly climbing. Kept it in a low gear and spun the first seven mile climb to Townsend and just kept spinning to Monterey. Turned into a good tailwind but couldn't capitalize on it up the grade on CR 22 as the legs just couldn't put anything out. Did actually see four riders on CR 22 which is the biggest group I've encountered in Schuyler County this year. Great road to ride but a little difficult to get to because of the elevation. Coasted down the hill to Tyrone and enjoyed one of the best views the county has to offer. Suffered on the two mile climb up Sebring Hill and was rewarded at the top by a very rude honking by what appeared to be a troll queen driving a car. It didn't drive very fast though and I was actully able to draft it for a good five miles on the long descent into Watkins. In my younger days I would have probably have rode up at the traffic light at the bottom of the hill and ask it if it needed anything but was content in my old age to just give it a friendly wave. Had planned on doing a 10 mile ITT in the afternoon but it was rained out.
