 ICAR
I'm trying to get in 3 shorter rides to get my 40 weekly miles in during this unseasonal heat. The forecast is calling for continued heat for at least another week. I headed to the ICAR after 5 o'clock and parked in the Whole Foods lot across from Keva. I made two 7-mile laps to get in 14 miles and push me over 40 for the week. Since I stop across from Keva I went in and got a 24-ounce Razzy Raspberry smoothie - boy is it good. I drank half on the way home and gave the rest to Cis. I saw the thread about people bragging about riding in the heat, but this heat is wearing me out. Also this is my 3rd straight weekend of working both of my off days. Working 7 days a week is really taking a toll on me. I am getting more comfortable on the road bike and am getting used to riding it.
