Resting heart rate was back up and so wanted to take a shorter ride today but still fighting off whatever virus is trying to make me it's my home. Rode early in the morning to avoid the upper nineties temperatures expected late in the day. Caught a south wind and rode to Dundee along the lake doing okay on the first climb out of Watkins. Climbed back out of Dundee on SR 14A into the wind but it was fairly light and didn't present much of a problem. Coasted back into Watkins without issue but on the shorts section of headwind between Watkins and Montour I pretty much bonked. Think it was the first time I bonked this year, but I don't think it wasn't really caused by the speed or milage I did today as was taking it fairly easy. Guess I need to take some time off the bike until I can shake the virus that is draining me.
