Could barely get the legs moving as I headed off into the headwind today. I am hoping it is just my body coping with the antibiotics. Seemed to take forever to get to Horseheads today as I had no spin or strength early on. Once I got into the tailwind on Ridge Road though I felt a little better although I had to stand up on the climbs. Felt good climbing out of the saddle and decided to add on the Lower Foots Hill climb which is short but brutal. Had pretty good results again climbing out of the saddle. Downhilled into Watkins and was planning on going up Old Corning Hill but it was getting late and I opted for the flats of SR 14. Bad decision though as they have milled at least a mile of road between Watkins and Montourand it made for some mighty unpleasant riding.
