Todays ice cream ride was to Dundee. Rode out with Gary in search of an ice cream stand. With the north wind blowing we decided to do the major climb into the wind and headed up Pine St in Watkins. We were rewarded by the view of a couple of jogging hotties descending as we were ascending. The sight made the climb more enjoyable than usual. Took our time spinning off the remaining miles of climbs and headwinds on 14A and finished the hard part of the ride as we crested the hill over Dundee. Worked on our aero forms on the descent and actually caught up with another rider. We couldn't find a stand after a brief cruise around Dundee and ended up getting supplies in the Sugar Creek or Dandy Mart at the four corners. Enjoyed our food while sitting on the benches on the square as we have done over the past three decades. Was surprised at how active the main drag has become. Did the mild climb over the hill to Lakemont and rode the strong tailwinds back down the lake.
