Ride Description: GRABAAWR-DAY 6... W/Sue... Waited for an hour to ride with Mike's friends, and then they drop us on a "race" to breakfast. We rode by ourselves after that.
We did ride with a nice couple from Des Moines Iowa and later with Greg, Helen and Kitty.
The toughest climb on a road bike around Devils Lake. Rough roads, flat riding with strong headwinds on a busy highway for a long time with big trucks and a lot of traffic made this my worst day ever on a bike. Not very enjoyable.
Beautiful hilly area around Richland Center. Rode the Ferry at Merrimac, and stopped briefly at the Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center.
We just missed getting rained on when we arrived at the Wollersheim Winery just as the rain started.

HR TIME: 10:52:28 / About 3 hours 37 minutes of eating, resting, ferry riding, picture taking and eating....
