I rode to the trailhead and back. The mile north of the trailhead is paved but not open yet. I really struggled going north but kept working at it. I stopped at the cemetery for a drink and headed south. I must have picked up the wind as I averaged 4 mph more going home than going north. I hustled back down the trail and made a quick stop at TTR for a drink. I was on East Park Avenue when I heard a bunch of yelling and my name. I stopped, turned around, and went back to where Don, Elissa, and their neighbor Terry were out walking. We talked for a couple of minutes then I headed on home.
