After work I waited around to let the temps fall some then headed to Cleveland Park and got on the SRT and headed north. It was fairly windy and challenging to ride, but it was a good ride. Just north of Cedar Lane I had a jogger jump in front of me and yell "Snake in the road!" There was a black snake stretched across the trail and I ran into another black snake about a mile north of that. I guess that it was a good night for black snakes! Coming back south a pretty girl on a road bike passed me and stayed just ahead of me for about a mile. I passed her back and she stayed right behind me for about a mile. Then I got off the trail where it is closed between West Washington and Brammet but she went on through. I passed her at Linky Stone Park as she was putting her bike back in her car. Overall it was an enjoyable ride.
