Spent the day yesterday riding Rt 14 north of Montour so choose to ride Rt 14 south today to the PA state line. Head wind was waiting for me so started the ride with 30 miles into the wind to add to the 60 miles I ended yesterday's ride with. Legs didn't recover and were pretty numb the entire ride. I could spin easily but coundn't put any pressure on the pedals. Body was still sore from yesterday's long ride and didn't appreciate the spotty road surfaces that dominate Chemung County. Ride was a steady uphill grade all the way to Fassett, PA where I took a right and headed up the roaring something road which was actually steeper than the first part of the ride but more welcome since it was tree lined for the most part and lacked the headwind. Crested the hill at Bird Creek road and headed downhill to Mosherville. Remainder of the ride was downgrade and tailwinds and was happy to complete crossing NY State twice in two days.
