I went out to the SCTAC for the Spinners Tuesday night ride. I took my stuff to the truck and got caught in a cloud burst. After a few minutes the rain had subsided so I took off to Donaldson. I called Lou along the way and he said that it was threatening out that way but not raining and that the was still going. He was going to start with the A group and hang on as long as he could then join the B group. I rode the white route by myself which is my normal thing. Once back to Perimeter Road I met the A group and Lou was hanging in with them. The B group was a mile and a half or more behind them and they were very strung out. I stopped at the clubhouse parking lot for a drink. Then I met the A group once more before getting back to the parking lot. I hollered at Lou both times and heard him holler back. The first time by Lou looked like he was really laboring, but the second time by he was just going.
