Ugh. Somewhere in the middle of the ride I turned off the computer. As I was getting ready to cross Manchester, the odometer was reading 15.7; a few miles later as I was making my way to Clayton Rd, it was still reading 15.7 and that was a nice downhill stretch that would have raised the AVG.
Otherwise it was a fun & exciting ride. The group was going a little slower than before, and would wait at a couple key points along the route, so it was nice to see other cyclist several times throughout the ride. On top of that I pushed myself to try a hang off the back of the group and got my heart rate up there pretty good, so my fear of being in a state of over-training from last week is either subsiding or a mis-diagnosis.
