I headed to the ICAR to try to get a ride in while the skies were threatening. The hour by hour forecast looked promising between 4:30 and 6:00 so I headed to the ICAR at 4:30. I parked in my central space and headed toward the St.Francis at Laurens Road. Then I doubled back and headed north to the Whole Foods parking lot. I looped the lot and doubled back to the round about and followed Millennium Boulevard back to Laurens Road, crossed it and took Fairforest Way by the postal plant and turned right at Christ Church High. I followed that to Mauldin Road and doubled back by the USPS and turned left at J L Mann High. I took that up to St Joseph High and turned left down Dairy Road. I rode it to the end and doubled back to St Jo's and turned left again. I took that to East Parkins Mill and turned left on it to Parkins Mill. At Sara Collins Elementary I turned around and doubled back to the truck. It seemed to be a real butt kicker ride. It was hot and humid and I seemed to be constantly fighting the wind, hills, and traffic.I was really pooped by the end of that ride!
