I headed up the trail for an easy spin to looseb up my sore legs. I seemed to be making better time than usual. In Cleveland Park someone in a dark SUV yelled "Hey!" At me, but I don't know who it was. Up by the Swamp Rabbit Crossfit I met Amy who was jogging. About a mile north of Sulphur Springs there was about a 6 foot blake snake working its way across the trail. I parked there to make sure it made it safely across. I rode on to the Creamery and had a small chocolate/cake batter twist. Judy pulled in as I was leaving and I said that I needed to go to try to beat the rain. She told me that there was no rain in the area. About 4 miles down the trail Cis called to tell me that it was raining at the house. I told her that I was fine but would call if I ran into it. It hit just before I reched the Swamp Rabbit Cafe, so I pulled in and called Cis to come get me. Inside was a young Oriental girl waiting out the rain. Cis came and we gave the girl a lift to Furman as it was pouring down rain.
