Today's ride started off poorly with a couple of miles into a stiff wind to Watkins where I was immediately delayed by road work. Legs felt heavy and wasn't looking forward to pushing any more wind out of my way. Things turned around after I got out of the saddle on Pine Street and then continued spinning up Steuben. Legs felt really good and had a better than average climb. Once I got out of the valley the wind wasn't funneled toward me and really wasn't too bad. Almost made a sixteen average to Dundee and probably would have if not for bad section to Watkins. Climbed well up the grade in Chubb Hollow and hammered the tailwind back to Watkins. Had all kinds of energy today which surprised me after the several mini bonks I had yesterday. Of course, I was held up again going back through Watkins. Surprisingly strong day on the bike.
