Today I took off to do my Swamp Rabbit Ride with a quick ice cream at the Trailside Creamery. On the way up I ran across an older Oriental man that spoke no or little English. he was off the side of the trail and his chain was wedged outside the smallest ring on the cassette. he was trying to move it with a stick, so I stopped and gave him a rag to move the chain without getting covered with grease. I went on to the Creamery and talked to Jenn a while. She is lonely without Anthony there.
I made a couple of deviations from my normal route. In Cleveland Park I turned the wrong way and missed the hill above the Park. On East North Street I turned onto Overbrook to see how that path is as opposed to climbing the hill on East North.
I also stopped at TTR for a drink and JJ was putting the bikes away to close the shop. I chatted with JJ for a few minutes. Today was a good ride.
