40 degrees when I left the house this morning. I've been researching good gloves for these temperatures and it seemed to me everything I saw online looked like a ski glove, so this morning I pulled out a pair of ski gloves I don't use much and rode to work with them.
Being bulky they are a little disconcerting. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to grab my brakes fast enough, etc. but it all worked out. The downside is that I sweat so I have to try and dry the gloves out during the day. No good place to set them for heat so I'll just have to hope for the best.
Forgot some things this morning. Wallet, cell phone, underwear. Always a little awkward going commando at work. Just doesn't feel right.
But the sun is out and there is snow in the mountains. All in all a good start to the day.
