Legs felt great after last nights time trial but it didn't carry over to today. Have been cutting down the bike trail through the swamp to avoid construction and traffic on Route 14. Trail has a hard packed cinder surface and seemed to have quite a few 'local' cyclists on it. Temperature was a little cool and the wind was fierce again. Spun on the way up to Dundee into the headwind and thought I would be catching a good tailwind back along the lake but while occasionally getting up to speed, I couldnt really hold it. Sort of an empty ride today, but I did see a few hippies hitchhiking and begging along the road in Watkins on thier quest to see Phish at the track this weekend.
