 Bonk City
Body felt a little worn from climbing in the heat and opted for a climb early and catch a tailwind home with the frequently ridden Sullivinville course. Spun up New Odessa hill with jelly legs. It seemed to take forever although it is only a seven percent one and a half mile climb. Legs didn't recover over the top and slowly pushed the headwind to the Junction. Started up the second climb out of the Junction and could barely keep the legs turning. Started hitting the GU packs and slugging water but it didn't really help as my tank empty. Kept riding slowly but felt poorly even on the downhill to Horseheads. Kept hitting the GU until my pockets were empty then pretty much coasted all the way from Pine Valley home. Got some miles in but they were far from quality.
