I've Got Something to Say

The seas where much quieter this morning as we woke up; we were no longer on the open seas of the Pacific Ocean, but rather in the inside passage, making our way to the entrance of Glacier Bay National Park. Upon reaching the entrance to the park, a small boat approached our ship that allowed a park ranger to board, so she could act as a tour guide, providing narration about the glaciers and park.
Even though it was overcast with off & on drizzle, and temp in the 40’s, it was still bearable to be out on the observation deck, and get an unobstructed view of the scenery, as well as being able to go from one side of the ship to the other and continuously see the glaciers. It was also surprising to be able to hear the waters that bounced down the hillside like babbling brooks, or small water falls. I would have thought that these water falls would be bigger based on the amount of sound that they were producing and how well we could hear it even being a few hundred yards away them.
The evening’s concert started out with David Robinson sharing a few stories about his days with the San Antonio Spurs. Then Smitty and his band came out and led us in a few songs before Max Lucado came and spoke about dropping our excess baggage.
We then went outside to see what we could see for a sunset at 10:00 PM, but the skies were overcast.
