I watch the TdF this morning and took off when it finished to run my own stage. Surprisingly I won a one-man race. I took off from the house down East North to Cleveland Park. Something is going on at the park as some of the streets are blocked off, so I turned in by the dog park and climbed the hill there and down the little loop over to McDaniel Street. I cut across town to River Street and caught the trail there. Then on north to the closed section at Bramlett where I turned left and went around the Monaghan Mill condos. Then on north through Furman and took my detour by the Mustang house and stopped for a drink at the gazebo in TR. I went on to the north end of the trail and turned back for home. I stopped again at Alley Kat's for another drink even though they were closed. Then followed my normal route home, although recently I have been bypassing the hump bridge by turning off the trail at Mount Calvary Baptist and crossing the tracks to get back to Washington. The temps have been in the 60s but were pushing toward 80 by the time that I finished. It was a pretty good ride.
