The Polar Vortex moved through and moderated our summer weather. The highs will be in the upper 80s and it pushed the high humidity out to sea. So it was very nice riding weather this morning. I stopped in Falls Park again to take some pix of the geese at the top of the falls. When I came up Hudson to the. Main. Post Office I could see a custodian out policing the area. So I went straight across and found Dennis H and stopped for a quick chat. After that I was headed Park Avenue and Don H was sitting on his front step, so I stopped in and talked to Don. He showed me the new fenders on his Salsa Casserole and how he has shortened the stem. He is also planning to get a new saddle and asked about the Brooks saddles. When I got to East North Street I was really riding into the teeth of the wind while climbing that hill. It made for a workout finish.
