Had good legs today on a short hilly ride. Got out of the saddle on the bottom section of Jackson Hill and stayed up to the curve. Motored along the grade fairly well but bogged down on the last steep rise before Catherine. Made the corner at eleven which was quite satisfactory. Had to fight a headwind on the second half of the climb to Seymourville. Had good leg speed but booged down again right before the peak. Still made it at ten point five. Legs worked well on the downhill into the wind and had a strong showing to Horseheads. Had visions of hammering out an eighteen on the downgrade to Montour but wind vector was more from the west than the south so only got an occasional tailwind. Lost too much time in the crosswind through Pine Valley, but once I got down into the valley got the speed back up. Fairly strong ride with a few weak spots but a big improvement over last weeks blast furnace riding.
