I rode the Surly from home through the maze of blocked/closed trail/streets with detours and partial detours in and around Cleveland Park. I met Jeff at his apartments and we headed up the trail. We rode to the north end (at least I did) and when I turned back I saw a turtle crossing the trail. I scooted him over to the trail's edge and left him there. We stopped at Kristen's picnic table by the square-foot garden for a bit. Then we headed down the trail. Around the Bramlett Street crossing Jeff's gears locked in in high gear, so he really struggled the rest of the way home. I also used one of the cooling towels that Bill gave me. I cooled with it in TR and have it on right on!
