Headed to the Nothhwest again today with a trip up SR 14A. The ride has quite a bit of climbing with ascents out of Watkins, Dundee, Penn Yan and Dresdan. Got caught up in some road paving in Dundee but other than that didn't see much traffic. Stayed on 14A all the way to Geneva and made the transition from corn and hayfields into cabbage field country. Another hot one today and ran out of water at the sixty mile mark, but with all the climbs behind me it wasn't too bad but kept the speed down a little. Kept up on the ridge for the most part following Ontario CR 6, Premption and Himrod roads on the return leg.Stopped in the newly reopened store at Glenora to get some fluids. Wasn't much in the store yet as the battlestar doesn't appear to be fully operation yet but I was able to purchase enough Cherry Coke to make the rest of the ride hydrated and pleasant. Long hot day on the bike today.
