I waited for the daily pop-up storms to blow through then headed up the SRT for my ride. With my tweaked route it is slightly shorter, but a more efficient ride. The trail was relatively empty after the storms and I made good time going to the creamery. Jenn had pineapple and orange ice cream twisted - boy was it good. When I got there Jenn said I see you have a friend. I had some kind of insect on my left shoulder and Jenn had me out to get rid of it. after a nice conversation with Jenn and Judy I headed back down the trail, but I hadn't made it out of TR when a hornet got me on the right leg. Now it has a pretty good welt on it. I guess that I need to carry some Benedryl in my saddle bag. While I was passing through Zfurman I was riding right at the SRT speed limit and I felt a pin prick on my right arm. There was a mosquito hanging on my arm trying to make a withdrawal. But I survived the ride and enjoyed in spite of the attack of the bugs.
