Time trial got rained out last night so really haven't got much riding in this week. Have a fifty mile fast race tomorrow in Sacketts Harbor up on the east shore of Lake Ontario in the morning so didn't want to do much today. Opted for a thirty mile ride to Dundee. North wind was blowing so headed up the steep version of the ride to climb into the wind through haunted Irelandville. Got a little winded on the first little challenge up Pine St but climbed comfortably for the rest of the way. Wind really wasn't painful today and temperature was pleasant. Once the climbing was out of the way the ride picked up with a good descent into Dundee and a good tailwind assisted climb over the ridge to Lakemont. Legs felt good on the run back down the lake and was able to effortlessly hold speeds in the mid-twenties. Finished the ride feeling good and legs felt fast though there still is some concern with the lack of climbing.
