 Bonk!
I got up this morning for a quick jaunt to the north end and back. I took off with just a quick snack and headed to the park and up the trail. The ride was unremarkable which means it was a good ride. I went to the north end on the newly opened section. I stopped and took a couple of pix at the new section. I stopped at the cafe on the way home and had a peach shortbread and a cup of Due South coffee and nought another peach shortbread for Cis. I was 3/4 of a mile from home and I bonked. My legs stopped pushing and things started getting fuzzy. I immediately pulled off and rested on the bike while downing a bottle of water. Everything came back and I finished the ride, but that is the first time that I really bonked.
