Had planned a longer hilly ride today but had some cramping last night after yesterday's hard effort and it did some damage to one of my quads. Decided to try and spin out the damage with a slow ride up to Eldrige park with minimal climbing. Turned out to be a fine day for riding with strong sunshine and light winds. Not much happened today though I did see two other riders. One was my brother on his E-bike coming down the slot as I was ascending. I saw a second rider heading north as I left Horseheads. I accelerated and assumed I would catch him and maybe have some company on the return home, but he took a sideroad to the domes where I assume he had parked at the rail-to-trail head. Did a little speed work on the way home but still had some aching in the quad so didn't get to fancy. Another nice day on the bike.
