I headed to Cleveland Park to join Ken's weekly ice cream ride. The temps were moderate in the low 90s. I left the house later than normal but knew that I still had plenty of time to make it on time. When I approached East North I see another rider that I first thought was Ken. His jersey was the same color as Ken's "Assault on Mt. Mitchell" jersey, but it wasn't Ken. Then after I was on East North I could see another rider about a block back. Once at the park there were a fair number of riders. We left with 10 of us and I believe that there were no new riders. Today was Ken, Mark, Don, George, Don, Mike, Kimberly, Susan, Barbara, and me. It was an interesting mix and there was a fair amount of surging, chasing down groups, wheel-sucking, and some other fun riding. After we had returned to the park, Ken, Mark, Kimberly, and I were standing over our bikes talking when Ptshuew...... and Mark's front was flat. That was very odd.
