Had another four days off due to my recurring illness. On the plus side, I recovered faster than usual. Actually felt like riding today but only had a brief window between thunderstorms. Had about an hour so took another short ride to Millport. Really not a very taxing ride and caught a strong tailwind on the way up. Felt good on the way back despite the headwind due to the ions in the air from the fast approaching thunderstorm.
Caught a few raindrops on the way back into town and got home seconds before the sky opened up with heavy rain, blustery wind, and marble sized hail stones. Love to ride before thunderstorms but could do without the hailstones.
