It's been 4 weeks since I last rode to/from work. The first week and a half of the hiatus was the 4th and extended vacation. At the start of that I took my bike into the shop for a tune-up, thinking it would be ready when I go back from my ...trip. However, the bike shop called about needing to order parts, and since I was out of the country I didn't answer the call or check my voice mail, so that all had to wait until I was back. Then it took a week to get the parts, and then the bike shop got back logged because one of the mechanics left.
Oh well. During the last two weeks Jacque and I carpooled, and I was able to get a couple other weeknight rides in.
With today's miles to/from work, July (259) climbs past cellar dweller February (249) under the category "Monthly Miles". I logged a total of 2 commutes in July for a total of 95 ytd. Its time to get back on track.
