Took yesterday off from the bike and spent a few hours kayaking down the Chemung from Corning to Fitch's Landing east of Elmira. Fell in a couple of times after tangling with some downed trees and appeared to have caught a cold as my throat was scratchy and felt poorly all day. Kept waiting to perk up but never did so just went on the default ride on Johnson Hollow. Started feeling a little better about halfway through the ride. Took it easy and spun. Legs felt good but really would have preferred to be laying in the lawn chair.
