 Round Keuka
Drove to Penn Yan to circumnavigate Keuka Lake with Mark from Pittsford. Saw over a dozen riders as I drove to the college to start the ride. Headed down the west side of the lake to hide from the headwind. Had a social ride at good speed and high cadance as we rode along and talked about racing back in the eighties and ninties when we both had done most of the finger lakes classics but had not known each other at the time. Saw nearly another dozen riders as we looped the lake. Caught the tailwind back up the east side. Except for Penn Yan proper I think we encountered almost as much bicycle as auto traffic. Legs held out well though I was glad when we cruised back into town as the heat and humidity had been increasing as the morning progressed. Pretty nice fourth on the bike.
