Today's ride had a lot of stuff going on. I bypassed the dog park hill as I left the house late to let the big heat fade some and I felt a little pushed for time. On the way up I was passed by an older rider that had some legs. He passed me after we crossed Blue Ridge, but I stayed close until we crossed Sulphur Springs. I latched onto his wheel and he pulled me the two miles to the next crossing. He was getting after it pretty good. I let him go after Watkins Bridge. I rode on to the Creamery and had a quick vanilla / peach twist. Judy was there and I was in and out quicks since it was late. On campus at Furman there was a little boy and a woman with his chain stuck Along the hub. I stopped and got it out and put it back on for him. Then it was back to the ride. I stopped at TTR and even though they were closed they were in there working. It is my normal drink stop on the way home and Nathaniel came out to talk. Back to the ride and I saw a rider pass in front of me on East North as I came out of Overbrook. I thought that it was Jonathan P. and I chased him up the hill on East North. He was surprised that I caught him and we rchatted along about half a block. He turned onto Batesview and I turned onto Erskine right after him. It was good to see him again. Pretty good ride.
