Since it has stormed day after day and I am back to working 6 days a week I just haven't been able to get out to ride. I took off this morning after the storm clouds had subsided. Even though my legs had no punch I made pretty good time up the trail. I stopped at the Creamery just as Jenn came in to open up. We chatted for a while while I jad a blueberry/vanilla twist then I headed back down the trail. I stopped by the Swamp Rabbit Cafe and got an apple-walnut scone for Cis. There was a train blocking the trail at Willard. I waited a few minutes and went around. I came up on a group of three riders on Washington Street and recognized Kim. She told me to keep October 26 open for the Gran Fondo. By the time I was to East North my legs waere pretty wasted. But it was good to get back out. I rode through a fair amount of standing water, some sprinkles, and a short light rain.
