Ride Description: Blue Loop-Connector-Emma Carlin.
A Detour Day on 07/07/07. First, A tanker truck on fire stopped traffic on I-90, So I had to turn around. Sue was working the scene, and after a kiss goodbye, the next driver says to me "Now that's what I call service!" Funny! Then The bridge is out to Clinton, So I stayed on 67 to "C". Then when I get to Elkhorn, there's a Road bike Criterium around the downtown area, so the streets were closed, and I had to find a way around.
With the heat & humidity I took it easy, stopped several times to eat, chat and rest. A good ride. Only walked 2 Carlin hills. Sand was still deep & loose.
I moved to #51 in singletrack miles! .1 behind #50.
