I waited until after 6 tonight to go riding but it was still 97 degrees when I headed off to ride. I rode the Swamp Rabbit Trail because much of it is shaded. I parked in CLeveland Park and trailed up to Sulphur Springs Road and turned back. I bypassed the Falls Park and found that they were having Music on the River behind the Peace Center. I thought that was a Thursday event but it must be more than once a week. It seemed like there were a lot of bikes on the trail tonight. I thought that I had kept a good average going but was disappointed to see that it was just over 12 mph.
