I headed to Linky Stone Park to get in my ride today. It hit 100 degrees today but dropped to 90 when clouds moved in and threatened to rain. I headed north from Linky Stone and decided to go to Sun Rift Outfitters in TR and turn around to come back. I was a little over a mile coming back when I heard doink - pshew - shew - shew. I stopped and the noise stopped as well. The front tire felt solid but the rear was spongy. I rolled it and found a little Green Slime oozing out back there, but it did its job and stopped the leak. I got out my hand pump and tried to firm it up some but it was still kind of spongy. I'll pull the tire later and patch the inner tube. About a mile from the pickup I heard heavy thunder rolling through town and about 1/2 mile out it started raining large drops. Since it was very humid I was already soaked through so the rain made no difference there!
