Decided on riding two short rides rather than one longer ride today. Since the wind was blowing fairly hard today out of the south, I headed up Fitzpatrick Hill into the wind up to Middle Road. Climbing legs just weren't there, so it was back to relaxed albeit slow climbing. Road surface between top of hill and Millport Hill Rd was in very poor condition and ended up weaving through pot holes in a light rain. Combined with the headwind it made for fairly slow going. Middle Rd was pleasant as usual despite the rain and just rode easy to Horseheads then spun easy back to Montour down SR 14. Wind shifted to the north the during the day and so headed out into it to start the afternoon ride. Made the climb to Reading Center and then came back via Irelandville. Legs still tired but riding is still enjoyable as long as I don't push the body too hard.
