I Long For A Wireless Future.
Last night I was setting up the stereo system in the lower level. What a frustrating nightmare!
I couldn't find the manuals so I figured I would try to set it up without them. Heck, they usually provide more confusion than answers anyway, because the TV manual says to hook up the DVD a certain way that it usually different than the DVD manual... Video 1 or video 2? The DVD is also a CD player so where do I plug that into? Video S... Why is the picture so crappy? DVD has 5.1 outputs Receiver is Pro Logic. OK, I'm hearing the DVD but seeing the TV. The DVD player Sub outs don't work... That's not right... Ahhhhhhh!

Adding to the confusion are unmarked multiple "pre-wired" speaker wires coming out of the walls. Your job, should you decide to accept it, figure out which ends belong to which ends. Yeah, I guessed wrong the first time for each wire. To make this process more time consuming was the strange fact that unless BOTH rear channel speakers were connected they would not work! I've never seen that before. Usually if you plug speaker wires into the speaker and the other end to the receiver it should work. Oh no, that would be too easy.
6 hours later, it seems everything is working. I even have extra cables! (Oh-oh)

We can put a man on the moon, but we can't make stereo hookup clean, easy and wireless.
Oh, To all you moon landing hoax believers, You are morons. Have someone read this to you. www.badastronomy.com/bad/tv/foxapollo.html
