Legs are tired as well as rest of my body. Took a couple of days off to recharge as have more hard riding coming up. Decided to see if the rest days had helped my speed so headed out to Mechlanberg for a test run. Put in an okay climb up Old Odessa and a steady climb up the grade on 228 out of Odessa. Crested the climb and started out on what was to be my fast section of the day and ran across a flagman at a construction zone right after the stop sign. She didn't seem want to let me through but eventual relented and instructed me to ride on the opposite shoulder against traffic through the five miles of one lane construction. That pretty much ruled out any hammering for the day and ended up just cruising along the shoulder. Appears they are resurfacing the road but with crushed stone and a little tar rather than pavement. Ended up just spinning out the remainder of the ride and did very little work on the second section of the day's climbing. Ended up feeling tired again with little to show for it.
