Yesterday's infection seems to be doing well as now the whole inside of my head appears to be swelled up resulting in acheing teeth and an acheing left ear. Taking several different types of over the counter medications without too much effect. Helps me sleep and dampens the pain a little but leaves me feeling bloated and drained. Other than that though it is was a great day with more warm but not hot weather and just enough light breeze to keep cool and dry. Have two races to do this weekend so just kind of spun the hill out of Watkins easy and rode the tailwind along the west side of Seneca Lake to Lakemont where I headed up over the ridge. Legs still feel strong though my head is a mess and my system feels drained. Things started clearing up after ten miles or so and picked the pace up a little on the downhill to Dundee. Had a good spinning climb out of Dundee and the downhill from Reading Center to Watkins is always a treat. Went home and lay in the sun hoping the suns healing rays would help fight my invader.
