Excellant ride toniight, with Glen and Steve - its always better (faster w/less effor) to ride in a pace line than by yourself - we avgeraged 18.6 mph. Just past the halfway point of the ride, my rear tire developed a slow leak and we stopped for a quick tube change; I also checked for some foreign matter that would've caused this, and found nothing. However, after a few miles down the road the replacement tube developed a slow leak. We stopped & I just added some air to the tire to allow us to get down the road. I stopped one more time with a couple miles left to top off the tire again. Looks like I've got a little investigating to do to find the cause of these leaks before my next planned use of this bike on Sat!
