Nice riding weather continues with more heat and less wind than yesterday. Made the long climb out of Watkins on Mud Lake Rd. Was treated to one thousand feet of climbing in seven miles or so. Most of the steepish stuff happens early then its just a gradual climb followed by the reward of a 50 mph plus descent down Sebring Hill. Kept a good pace most of the way and started following some of the markings from the Bon Ton route as I got near Dundee. Got to explore some more roads I've never ridden which is a treat but kind of odd since I've been riding for over thirty years and these roads are within fifteen miles of my house. Made me wonder what else I might have missed over the years. Coasted down into Dundee then climbed out to Lakemont and caught the tailwind down SR14 home. Got another present as the grapes are now ripe and thier smell is terrific. Best time to ride near the lake is when the grapes are ready to pick.
