I waited until late afternoon for my ride today and headed on East North Street to the Swamp Rabbit Trail on north the Furman and Back. The ride was fairly uneventful with a couple of long traffic stops and a stop at Alley Kats for a drink of water. I was just coming back onto East North Street when I heard my cell ringing. I pulled off on a side street partway up the hill and called home. Cis said that it was raining like everything at home. It was only lightly sprinkling where I was just under 2 miles from the house. I climbed up the hill and parked in bus shelter for her to come pick me up. It was raining steadily by then so the bike and I rode home in the car.
