Eight of us left the park-n-ride lot at Mid Rivers & I-70 up Highway C to Highway B to get on the Golden Eagle Ferry across the Mississippi, then the Brussel's Ferry across the Illinois River, then trekked up to Pere Marquette State Park for a quick brunch before returning the way we came. This is pretty much the same route we took on July 1, but the rivers are not as high today, nor was there water over some of the access roads today.
